Good deed of the day

Someone came to my blog today by googling “inflatable stork for twins.” I’d like to believe that, after reading this, they reconsidered and I might have saved another unwitting infertile from such blatant fertile bragging…

Speaking of which, I'm thinking of putting a giant inflatable gona1-f pen on my front yard while I'm cycling next month. Either that or two giant ovaries with a bunch of follies that I'll inflate a little bit more each night leading up to retrieval. Either way, really...it's all very tasteful and classy.

I love your sense of lawn decor, as well as your sense of humor. It will carry you through. Goodluck.

This made me laugh out loud!!

I love the idea of increasingly inflatible ovaries for your front yard - truly classy. Maybe somehow rig it so the gonal-f pen "injects" them at night as they inflate? Sort of the equivalent of the waving obnoxious stork.

That's a hilarious idea. I LOVE it. When we make it to IVF, I will gladly put one on my lawn as well.

That's so funny!
I still can't believe people do this inflatable stork thing that you speak of. Its too much.

Hehe, can I order some of that lawn decor too? You might want to throw in an inflatable penis and a collection cup for my husband too. Delurking for the commentathon...

OMG. This is freaking hysterical! You should send your idea to the marketing folks at the gonal-f pen HQ. Seriously.

If I ever see a real inflatable stork, I am dead serious that I will buy a BB gun and kill it. And I HATE guns of any kind.

Thanks for the fun post!

I LOVE IT! Where can I buy one?

I'm new to blogging and came across your posts and can't believe how much we have in common. I start my Stim meds this Saturday and also will finish in July. My insurance is changing July 1st (although we don't have coverage with either, but its still a pain in the ass). We are undiaganosed/unexplained -- but I worry that really my eggs are crusty. I hate the BCPs. I'm on the same ones as my first IVF, but this time I got the bonuses of ravenous appetite and paranoia, along with fleeting patience.

Most of all I understand your intense mixed emotions about starting the cycle. For us, all our eggs are in one basket (ha ha), since this will be our last IVF, at least for awhile. It is so hard to be hopeful, but how can we not be?

Sorry for such long comment! Anyway, wishing you the best as you join us in IVF land (aka sore ass)! No really, the IM injects aren't so bad! It WILL be worth it!

That is freakin' awesome. First that you may have saved one lawn from the stork indignity, and second your idea for IF-lawn decor. So great!!

Happy Monday...
